Job Type: Full Time (Ottawa, National Capital Region)
Role
We are looking for a candidate with senior frontend engineering expertise. You will be involved in implementing and improving products for our customers and be directly involved in shaping every aspect of those products. You will be working closely with our product and engineering teams, as well as our clients. Your knowledge and understanding will play a crucial role in developing valuable content for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership and champion best practices and help grow our engineering team
- Design and build scalable, reliable, and robust products
- Contribute cross stack and learn a wide variety of skills and technologies
- Learn and shape our company’s engineering culture
- Work alongside passionate, intelligent and ambitious engineers
- Web Development
- Requirements engineering
- Handling issues and product technical support post launch
Prerequisites
- Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years of post-undergrad experience
- Strong understanding of software design patterns
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and React with advanced state management.
- Eligible for Government of Canada Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills/Assets
- Docker or other Linux containers and orchestration experience a valuable asset
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL/S3 data stores.
- Cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Heroku, DigitalOcean, or other comparable providers) a valuable asset
